Social Responsibility

Great Northern Mall is proud to present the Vera House Survivors' Art and Poetry exhibit.  The Survivors' Art and Poetry exhibit is over 100 feet long and is covered from end to end with breathtaking over-sized prints of art images and soul-stirring poetry - all created by and for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

The permanent exhibit, on display in the Sears wing across from the Post Office, is filled with art and poetry created through the Vera House Art of Caring program.  The Art of Caring is a unique project that brings together gifted artists and a caring community to offer hope and healing to our neighbors in crisis and celebrate the joy of the arts in our lives.  Through the Art of Caring, Vera House invites artists and performers to use their creativity as a forum to speak out against domestic and sexual violence.
